What's up, fellas?
It's a Saturday night and I have a day off work so I figured why not sit back and review the Daura Damm Lager gluten-reduced beer.
Now, I will be following due-diligence in order to best represent this beer so you can make a good decision based on your specific needs.
I am writing this review live as I get drunk in the name of research, so let's crack this baby open.
This beer is not gluten-free, but rather gluten-reduced. What's the difference, check out my explanation here.
So can you drink it?
Daurra Damm is tested at 3 parts per million of gluten, and so it is appropriate for Celiac's.
However, depending on sensitivity some may have negative reactions. So if your tryna party with this bad boy, make sure you test it out gently.
Coming in at $10.99 for a six-pack of 5.8% ABC, it's a bit more expensive than whatever pisswater your roommate is drinking, but it's also definitely better.
Well, it tastes like beer which is a fan-fucking-tastic start.
Because it's gluten-reduced rather than gluten-free, the flavor of the barley is present rather than that nasty sour sorghum taste after every sip.
With a flavor profile similar to most wheat beers, there is a prominent floral taste at the initial sip, followed by a warm spreading hop flavor that's not overbearing, but complimentary. With a crisp level of carbonation and an overall smooth and mellow taste, it's some good shit.
Well, as a college student I'm sure everyone has/will consume beer through a beer bong. It's essential to the experience, and I want to make sure you bong the right beer.
Here I go, time to bong this shit.
Well, as you can see it was pretty easy. Went down smooth, not excessively carbonated and my stomach feels just fine afterwards so 10/10 here
Great overall gluten-free beer. If you are after the crisp taste with a deep mellow finish, all for a decent price you should definitely check this beer out.
